Who owns the website and domain?
Ownership and management arrangements will be set out in the individual service agreement. We recommend that the academic is the domain registrant and that content, transfer and access rights are clearly documented.
Do I need to write all the website content myself?
You can provide an existing CV, biography and publication list. Content preparation and ongoing editorial support are offered as separately scoped services.
Can I choose an Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge, Stanford, MIT or Yale-inspired design?
Yes. These are independent visual directions, not official university templates or claims of affiliation. Your personal website will use original layouts and your own approved professional identity.
Does every website include a blog?
The concepts include a blog and article layout. Live self-service publishing requires a content management system to be configured for your production site.
Can LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok feeds update automatically?
Profile links and curated updates can be displayed. Automatic updates depend on the relevant platform permissions and approved integrations; unrestricted live feeds are not guaranteed.
Can I sell e-books, articles or courses?
The site designs accommodate free and paid resources. Secure checkout, access control and digital delivery must be configured before any paid files can be sold.
What does the £300 annual managed blogging service include?
The proposed package is 12 monthly drafted posts based on short editorial discussions, each sent for approval before publication, together with a defined photography component. Word counts, revisions and photography arrangements need agreement.
Is hosting included?
Website creation and hosting are priced separately. The shop currently illustrates £120/year hosting or £240/year for hosting and updates, subject to a final written agreement.
Can I upload my CV and portrait in the shop?
You can select files within the form, but the current enquiry flow opens your email application. Files are not automatically uploaded; you must attach them to the email manually.
Can I book speaking and advisory engagements through the site?
The individual academic designs provide speaking and engagement sections. Booking, payment and calendar automation are additional systems that require setup.
Can I pay on the website now?
No. The present shop builds an estimate and consultation email. Online payment, order storage and automated invoicing are not yet connected.
Will the site be linked to my university?
You may link to your institutional profile and other approved resources. The personal site remains independent, subject to any applicable employer branding and content policies.
